Presidents of the Armenian and Greek Parliaments meet in Athens

In today’s meeting with the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, the President of the Hellenic Parliament Mr. Constantine An. Tassoulas underlined the “common aspirations and perspectives” and the “similar historical trials”. He also highlighted the exemplary cooperation of the two parliaments within the scope of the EU Twinning Project “Strengthening the capacity of the National Assembly to further support CEPA oversight and implementation” where the Greek side contributes to the enlargement and completion of all the necessary procedures for the implementation of Armenia’s partnership with the European Union. “I am confident that we will jointly contribute to the promotion, improvement and deepening of relations between our countries and at the parliamentary level and we will make every effort in this direction,” mentioned Mr. Alen Simonyan, President of the National Assembly of Armenia.
