This Project is a Twinning project.

Twinning is a European Union instrument for institutional cooperation between Public Administrations of EU Member States and of beneficiary or partner countries. Twinning projects bring together public sector expertise from EU Member States and beneficiary countries with the aim of achieving concrete mandatory operational results through peer to peer activities.

The current Twining Project is aspiring to contribute to the approximation process by enhancing capacities and improving toolsets for the effective lawmaking and legislative oversight of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia in order to further support EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) oversight and implementation. It is the first European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI) Twinning Project engaging with the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia as beneficiary.
